Welcome to the Gotha Handbell Choir

The St. Augustine Lutheran Church Handbell Choir from Gotha, Germany will present a concert at Holy Trinity on Sunday, July 27 at 4:00 pm.

 As a reminder, the Gotha Handbell Choir was at the heart of the ministry partnership between the Lutheran Church of the North in Germany and the Southern Ohio Synod here in the USA.  While East Germany was still walled off from western countries, arrangements were made for a bell choir from Dayton, Ohio to play a bell choir concert for a congregation in Gotha.  Having “neglected” to bring their bells home with them, the Dayton choir was instrumental in establishing Gotha’s renowned bell choir of its own.  For more information, please see Minister of Music Josh Brodbeck or Pastor Steve.
