In July, 18 members of the Barrett, Burton, Roth, Sharp, Warnement, and Wachtman families will travel to Kenya for a partnership exchange with Sikhona Rescue Centre (https://www.sikhonarescuecentre.com/), which supports women and children impacted by gender-based violence (GBV). In addition to serving at their shelter and sustainable farm where care is provided, the group will undertake a lasting service project: the construction of a Community Signboard in Kitengela, Kenya.
