Stewardship Corner - July 27, 2025

In discussing tithing, giving ten percent of our incomes, the question that is often asked is, “Should my giving be based on my gross or net income?”  Proverbs 3:9 will help us answer that question: “Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first-fruits of all your crops.”  Based on this as well as other verses, we can understand that the tithe should be based on our gross incomes.  The reference to “your wealth” implies that we need to honor God with all that we have.  For more information about stewardship, please contact Max Buban at maxmbuban82@gmail.com.
