Staying home is not an option for some. You might know that Holy Trinity regularly volunteers to help homeless families at the YWCA Family Center. But since the coronavirus, we have not been able to serve meals like we normally do. The Y-Center is really seeing an explosive need and could use our help.
Families are quarantined there. Children are struggling to keep up with school due to limited or no access to technology to participate in online learning. The staff is working hard but every day it gets more difficult.
Here’s what we can do to help these families:
Make a financial donation – online at ywcacolumbus.org or mail a check to Jessica Wichtman-Will, YWCA, 65 S. 4th Street, Columbus, OH 43215.
Make a material donation – items can be dropped off at the Y-Family Center (900 Harvey Court, Columbus, OH 43219), on the porch of the Wagenbachs’ home in UA, or you can make a material donation directly via Amazon.
Here’s are the most-needed items: (for health reasons, all items must be new and unopened)
