For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). Salvation is a gift of God; we neither deserve it nor can we earn it. God gave it out of love for us (John 3:16). Jesus came to be our Savior while we were still sinners (Romans 5:8). Because Christ first loved us, we will want to give of our time, talents, and treasures in love and thankfulness to God to help build and strengthen the members of the household of faith and to share the message of salvation with the whole world. About this blog
Welcome to my running online dialog on matters of our life together in faith community at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church—where the grace of Christ Jesus our Lord engages each of us and, in turn, sends us out to engage others with that grace as well. I look forward to learning and growing together.
