We don’t always put our money where our mouths are, but we certainly put our money where our hearts are. Jesus said, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:21). If Jesus is our treasure and we love Him with all our hearts, we will use our money responsibly and wisely in response to that love. Therefore, our giving can be a good indicator of our spiritual health. Those of us who are generous with our money are likely to be spiritually healthy. However, if we are selfish with our money and use it only for ourselves, we are sick spiritually. For more information on stewardship, please contact Max Buban.
About this blog
Welcome to my running online dialog on matters of our life together in faith community at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church—where the grace of Christ Jesus our Lord engages each of us and, in turn, sends us out to engage others with that grace as well. I look forward to learning and growing together.
