Christian stewards are set apart by God for God’s purposes. The Apostle Paul wrote, “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – God’s good, pleasing, and perfect will” (Romans 12:2). Christ is our best example. He was so engaged in the world that He was criticized for associating with sinners (Luke 19:7). Rather than taking on the characteristics of the world, however, Jesus, during His brief time on Earth, affected the world as no one before or since has ever done. As God brings about the transformation of our minds, God will enable us to do “God’s good, pleasing, and perfect will.” For more information about stewardship, please contact Max Buban.
About this blog
Welcome to my running online dialog on matters of our life together in faith community at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church—where the grace of Christ Jesus our Lord engages each of us and, in turn, sends us out to engage others with that grace as well. I look forward to learning and growing together.
