It is God’s plan for us to give. Giving is not an option. Jesus said, “Freely you have received, freely give” (Matthew 10:8). In our giving, we express our gratitude for all God has done and gives to us. You see, whether or not our church needs our money, we have a purpose and a need to give. Paul wrote, “On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a certain sum of money in keeping with one’s income…” (I Corinthians 16:2). We are to give on a regular basis as we are blessed. People filled with God’s wisdom will give their best to the Lord. For more information on stewardship, please contact Max Buban.
About this blog
Welcome to my running online dialog on matters of our life together in faith community at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church—where the grace of Christ Jesus our Lord engages each of us and, in turn, sends us out to engage others with that grace as well. I look forward to learning and growing together.
