Stewardship is more often caught than taught. Who is our best example of a good steward? Certainly it is our Lord! When we think about what He taught us during His life on Earth about stewardship, don’t we more often picture His deeds than hear His words? He healed the sick and comforted the sorrowful. He washed the feet of others and even died for our sins so that we wouldn’t have to suffer eternal separation from Him. Let us imitate Jesus, then, and live a life of love just as He loves us (Ephesians 5:1). For more information about stewardship, please contact Max Buban.
About this blog
Welcome to my running online dialog on matters of our life together in faith community at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church—where the grace of Christ Jesus our Lord engages each of us and, in turn, sends us out to engage others with that grace as well. I look forward to learning and growing together.
