Due to an overwhelming level of donations to local Goodwill stores and donation centers over the last few months, they’ve found themselves in a spot where they’re in need of significant help sorting clothing and other goods at their distribution center. They’re reaching out to nearby churches and other groups who may have an interest in serving their community, in this case sorting goods at their warehouse, 2660 Fisher Road, any day Monday – Saturday between 7am – 3pm. Generally they can take up to 20 volunteers at once – and are fairly flexible on age (14 years and older is best). All the goods you help with will eventually help fund their mission of transforming the lives of individuals with disabilities, whether through adult day programs, job training, supported living or much more.
