Holy Trinity friends,
With confidence of Christ Jesus reigning over all, we offer you greetings of hope even as we continue to manage effects of the pandemic on our lives.
We pray the rate of COVID-19 infections continues to decline even as the community begins to increase interactions with a mind toward safety..
Congregational Meeting to Approve Use of Payroll Protection Plan Funds
Thanks to all those who are participating in the Remote Congregational Meeting to consider Council’s proposal for use of Payroll Protection funds from the US government. We had 37 different phone numbers with others listening in for the conference call last Sunday. We have already received more than 50 envelopes with ballots. To preserve the privacy of each vote, they will be opened and counted by Council Secretary Dave Reed and Director for Equipping Ministers Laura Hudson, and sealed again after. Council will report the result in the WEEKLY communication next week.
Plans for Gathering Anew
This week the Parish Health Team has continued to review cleaning protocols for the church, coordinated safe use of the space with the Child Development Program summer program, and clarified our insurance coverage related to virus events at the church. Our insurance primary guidance is to continue the planning that we are doing as that will do the most to protect us from liability. Next week they will begin circulating a draft of Gather Anew Plan for your review, questions and suggestions.
