Holy Trinity has been fortunate to receive a few instruments to add to our collection! We have received two reed organs and a harpsichord on permanent loan. One reed organ is a rare transposing instrument, and the other one is a bit larger with a full pedal board. The harpsichord is a replica of a 17th century harpsichord in the French tradition similar to what Bach would have played. The harpsichord is a Zuckerman kit harpsichord and was built in 1976. These three instruments are from the collection of Ernest J. Wells, a retired doctor and musician in Columbus.
About this blog
Welcome to my running online dialog on matters of our life together in faith community at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church—where the grace of Christ Jesus our Lord engages each of us and, in turn, sends us out to engage others with that grace as well. I look forward to learning and growing together.
